1 how to book
Booking is effected when Top Adrenaline accepts from you a completed booking form and payment of the deposit (minimum 50% of the total trip price). The balance of the full trip price is payable before departure. If payment of the balance of the trip price is not received by Top Adrenaline by the required time you will be taken as having canceled the trip. The deposit can be paid using PayPal, Western union. In the case of international payments you should ensure that the full invoice amount is received by us after all bank charges have been levied. If sending money by electronic (bank) transfer then you must pay the remitter’s (your) fees and the beneficiaries’ fees.
If it becomes necessary to cancel your booking, please immediately notify us, so that the cancellation can take effect. If cancellation takes place less than 30 days prior to departure, your deposit will be forfeited. Last minute cancellation and absence at departure will not be refunded. Under no circumstances will there be a refund of any kind if you don’t show up on the trip departure date or if you leave the trip after the trip has started for any reasons, voluntary or involuntary. You are advised to take out travel insurance when you book, to protect you in some circumstances if you have to cancel. You might have coverage through your private health policy, you can receive additional coverage through a wide range of providers.
3 Medical Disclosure and Risks
You declare and warrant that you are in good health mentally and physically at the time of booking this trip. Immediately upon any adverse change in your health or fitness, you will notify Top Adrenaline. If you are not sufficiently fit to take part in the trip, we may decline or cancel the booking at any time at their complete discretion. Neither Top Adrenaline nor any of their representatives will be responsible for any illness, injury or death sustained on their trips, except where such illness, injury or death is caused by their negligence or that of their representatives, nor will they be liable for any uninsured loss of personal property. Most trips involve going to high-altitude and carry an inherent risk of altitude illness. Similarly, most trips visit remote locations or poorly developed regions where infrastructure is limited. In such places, the risks to health are increased and the ability to treat injury or illness effectively is reduced. Additionally, anything that involves crossing glaciated terrain or snow-bound passes, are hazardous activities with a risk of serious injury or death. By signing these booking conditions you acknowledge these hazards and your acceptance of the associated risks. For all trips, you are advised to have insurance that covers you for all of the activities, specifically those deemed to be hazardous, included in the itinerary and for any activities you may undertake if traveling on an extension whether arranged by Top Adrenaline or independently.
4 Force Majeure
Top Adrenaline reserves the right to postpone, cancel or delay any trip due to Force Majeure (adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, government or political action, strikes, acts of war, epidemics or health risks, closed airports, etc). In the event of any change, modification, cancellation, postponement or delay under this condition, you acknowledge that you will have no right of refund of the trip price and no right to claim compensation for any injury, loss or damage or other additional expenses incurred.
5 Itinerary Changes
The itineraries published on the website are designed to be illustrative in order to best explain the scope and type of activities you will be undertaking. During a trip, every effort will be made to adhere to the planned itinerary but it must be realized that with adventurous activities of this type, or by being in the developing world, or by being in mountainous areas, or by visiting regions with limited infrastructure by virtue of their remoteness or otherwise, or with world-wide travel in general, changes to the itinerary will occur. As such, circumstances may arise where Top Adrenaline are forced to alter dates, trip duration, trekking routes, mountains to be climbed or locations visited, either during or before a trip has commenced, possibly at short notice. Whilst Top Adrenaline will try to inform you of any such changes as soon as they know of them, they accept no liability for, or the consequences of, any such changes.
6 Group size
Group sizes described on the website are target sizes and may be increased or decreased at the discretion of Top Adrenaline. Top Adrenaline give no undertaking as to the minimum or maximum size of a group, but do undertake to ensure that guides and support staff are supplied in appropriate numbers to ensure the principle objectives of the trip can be achieved. Similarly, guides and support staff named on the website, may also be changed at any time. We reserve the right to cancel any trip, which does not have sufficient people taking part to make it financially viable, or to cancel your participation alone if not to do so would result in a financial penalty. By the same token, Top Adrenaline will endeavor to ensure that a trip runs if at all possible. If your booking is likely to be cancelled under such circumstances, Top Adrenaline undertake to inform you as soon as possible. Full refund will be given.
You will be provided with a list of all equipment required to bring on to the trip. You may hire some items of equipment from Top Adrenaline. It is your responsibility to ensure that all equipment is fit for purpose prior to the departure date and for the duration of the trip. You are responsible for your equipment and belongings during the trip and bear the sole responsibility for wear and tear and incidental damage to your equipment. Top Adrenaline recommend that you take out adequate insurance to cover your own equipment, and any items hired from Top Adrenaline as you will be liable for its replacement should it be damaged or lost. Top Adrenaline may provide some equipment for a trip and you are responsible for the maintenance of such equipment. Where you deliberately or recklessly cause damage to any such equipment, you shall indemnify Top Adrenaline.
If you have a problem during the trip, please inform the guide immediately and he/she will endeavor to put things right. If your complaint is not resolved locally, please follow this up by writing to email@example.com, giving your trip name, the departure date and all other relevant information and, where possible, evidence. Any such complaint must be received not later than 14 days of the date of your return from the trip. Please keep your e-mail concise and to the point and the whatsapp number. This will assist in identifying quickly your concerns and speed up the response to you.
9 Promotional Images
Top Adrenaline may use any likeness or image of our clients that is taken on the trips without charge in all media (whether now existing or in the future invented) for promotional materials of any kind, such as brochures, slides, video shows and the Internet.
